The City of Danville is leasing space at Caesars Virginia for a welcome center that will promote all the south-central Virginia town has to offer. The 600 square feet retail space is being rented by the city on a month-to-month basis for $2,000.

Caesars Entertainment and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians opened the $750 million integrated resort casino last December. The 90K-square-foot casino boasts 1,451 slot machines, 100 live-dealer table games, a World Series of Poker room, and a Caesars Sportsbook. This destination also features a 320-room hotel, 50K square feet of convention and event space, and a 2,500-seat theater.

The retail space, located near the entrance to the pool and spa, will be used by Danville’s tourism and economic arm to promote attractions outside of the casino property. The goal is to introduce guests to the community and region they will visit during their stay at the Caesars Virginia casino.
